Lakme is one of my favorite brands for nail polish. My love for it dates back to my school days when I used to buy a pearl white Lakme nail polish for my mum as her anniversary gifts. I remember buying a chocolate brown shade too for mum on her birthday. Needless to say I used them more than mum ;) Since then, there have been endless Lakme nail polish buying. So when Lakme put forth its Fast & Fabulous nail polish range, I had jumped on the bottles. After all it was the first Indian brand to come up with a more stylish and unique polish bottle and you have to know I looooove it when cosmetic products have unique packaging lol !!
The Lakme Fast & Fabulous nail polish bottles are slim rectangles with shiny silver slim cap. The design helps me to hold the cap in a better way and definitely helps in polish application (at least to me). The brush is different from the polishes from other range, it being flat and broad. This helps in not having to dip the brush in the bottle again and again. The bottle clearly state the drying time of 40 seconds and the polishes live upto this claim :)
I am wearing 3 coats Misty Grey on my nails without a top coat. It is one of the newly launched shades. This grey has more of blue in it that my mind screams grey-ish baby blue when I look at my nails. Either way, it works very well for my slightly dark fingers.
Formula wise, it is a lot better then the earlier polishes from the same range. Nor goopy neither runny, this polish doesn't drag the layer of the polish below, while doing the 2nd or the 3rd coat. But it did leave a bald patch or two on each nail and hence 3 coats.
Overall I am too happi with this shade :D Absolutely recommend it for the winter !!
Rating: 4.5/5 happi :)
