M.A.C Archie's Girls Collection eye pencils 'Lord It Up', 'Black Swan' & 'Petrol Blue swatches & review

So the MAC Archie's Girls collection has hit the store and the irresistibly cute packing of the various products from the collection are literally begging us to take them home.

Well, I brought home three eye pencils and I am too lazy to do review them all separately so I am just going to do a collective review. Also because I don't want to sound like a stuck tape repeating the same things thrice. That's kinda lame :p

So let's begin the fun ;)

Product:
M.A.C Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner.

Packing:
Special white pencil with tiny red hearts <3 Total cuteness. The outer box is white too with the images of Archie, Betty and Veronica. I don't know if its just me, but the caps on the pencils seem quite loose and they come off very easily. Just a soft fall on the bed does that. That means, I can't pack them for a travel without their outer paper box.

Color:
'Lord It Up' is bronze with pearl. On application, you get a warm shiny brown on your eye. This color does nothing great to my skin tone irrespective of the hand swatches. So this will mostly be used as a lid color of a base for brown eye looks :/

'Black Swan' is black with gold pearl. But you can actually see that its more of silvery blue pearl on the tip rather then gold :/ On application, its clearly shines blue on a black base.

'Petrol Blue' is deep navy with pearl. True to the name, its a shiny deep blue and the most beautiful of all the four eye pencils.

Texture and Application:
All three pencils are super creamy and glide on easily on the skin. The pearl is very prominent but non gritty. I would suggest not using these pencils on the water line for obvious reasons.

Pigmentation:
All the pencils are insanely pigmented and need just one swipe for a intense color.

Longevity and Removal:
Pearlglides are smudge proof and super long staying. They lasted for more than 6 hours on me each. Though you do get some pearl particles around your eyes if you have the habit of scratching and rubbing your eyes often. Removal should be done with an oil based makeup remover to avoid looking like a disco ball :p
