Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain 'Rendevouz' swatch & review.

Orange/tangerine is the lip color for this season. Although I am not a sucker for trends, I thought it would be nice to have at least one orange lip color. The problem with me is that I am not comfortable with bold lips. So if I want an orange lip color, it has to subtle. And the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balmstain in 'Rendevouz' solves the problem for me !!

The Revlon balmstains come packed as revolving jumbo lip crayons. The pencils are color coordinated with the color of the product.

Rendevouz is a sheer orange with the tiniest amount of shimmer particles. Borders on a neon orange on my semi pigmented lips.

Texture and pigmentation:
Revlon Balmstains are soft, gel like and moisturizing. The shimmer is not felt on the lips. Since these are all sheer colors, you don't get a totally opaque look but the color for this particular one builds up amazing well. So much so that I have tow tone it down a bit with the help of a tissue paper.

Rendevouz, like its other counterparts glides on easily on the lips but unlike the other shades, Rendevouz tends to get in the fine lines.

Rendevouz holds its sheen for 2 hours and leaves behind a pinky orange stain for 4ish hours after that. There is visible color along the lip line after that, which is ugly to look at. This is something which doesn't happen with Honey and Romantic. Also every time, after using Rendevouz, I have had chapped lips :/ No idea why that happens with this particular shade. And it could only be me.

Price: Rs.600/2.7 gm

Rating: 3.7/5 happi :)
