Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lip Polish Glam 6 swatches & review

Recently, Maybelline has emerged as a brand that comes up with actually good, affordable and trendy products, it's newest offering being the ColorSensational Lip Polish.

I am sure by now you have already seen a million reviews on various Indian beauty blogs. Well, here's my two cents.

The shade I have here is Glam 6. Absolutely hate when brands are not creative enough and skip giving names to their products.

Maybelline Lip Polish is a almost like a melted lipstick. Let's look at the breakdown of its various factors.

See the huge scratch on the top ?? This is what happens when you randomly throw in a ton of things in your handbag.

Glam 6 is a deep plum shade.

Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Polish comes in a transparent tube with a ailver handle to a leafy shaped applicator.

The lip polishes are formulated to act as a lipstick, lip balm and lip gloss, all at the same time. So yes, it is decently shiny and also moisturizes the lips for a decent time.

Maybelline Lip polishes have a non sticky, creamy 'cushion like' texture.

Pigmentation & lasting power:
Glam 6 is insanely pigmented. Since it's a very deep shade, the lasting power is very good too. Inspite of having gloss like properties, it lasted on me for more then 5 hours before it started to fade. Also note that a subtle outline was left, as was a stain. Nothing an oil based makeup remover can't tackle.

The only con I experienced was bleeding of the polish !! It was noticeable enough for my sis in law to point out that my whatever-is-on-the-lips has melted !!

Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Polish comes at a very affordable price of Rs.450 for 5 ml of the product. So far I am loving my lip polish and I think I won't be stopping at just this one :)
